Robotics Competition - 2015

On the 10th October 2015, the school participated in the annual Robotics competition organized by the Ghana Robotics Academy Foundation (GRAF) at St. Augustine’s College, Cape Coast. Three sub-teams in the school’s robotics team took part in this year’s competition which comprises two challenges.

STAFF DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP AND RETREAT- 2015

The annual staff development workshop and retreat is an event that brings the staff of Wesley Girls’ High School together to evaluate work done in the previous academic year and to set goals for the new academic year. The event, which always run with a specific theme is a complete package, with very rich activities in the form of powerful exhortations and a workshop. 

VISIT BY TEACHERS FROM BERKELEY PREPARATORY SCHOOL, FLORIDA - USA

     

Thursday 2nd July, 2015, Wesley Girls’ High School was honored with a visit by five teachers from Berkeley Preparatory School, Florida. They arrived in the school at 11:45am and after settling in, they were treated to a tour of the school by the Senior Prefects. At 6:35pm, students got settled in the old assembly hall for the variety night held in their honor.

STUDRAFEST - 2015

The Student Drama Festival is an annual celebration of stage craft pub together by second cycle schools in the various regions of Ghana.

BIOLOGY EDUCATIONAL FIELD TRIP

It is a three-day annual educational excursion organized by the school’s biology department to give second year students (six classes) an in-depth understanding and practical field experience in five chosen natural habitats studied.

First was the Kakum National Park, where the young scholars went on a nature walk through the Kakum Forest (so much to learn!) and then a walk on the canopy walkway.
