Staff Development Workshop - 2013

Staff Development Workshop-2013mr albert ocran

The annual staff development workshop for Wesley Girls High School Staff is indeed contributing a lot to the personal development of its participants. This year’s workshop which was held from the 9th to 13th September, 2013 at Anita Hotel Kumasi, left so much to be desired. It was unique, insightful and life-changing; many agreed that it has been one of the best so far. For the first time, it saw a full participation of the non-teaching staff who were represented by their able leadership. In line with the theme of the workshop which was ‘building healthy relationships’, activities were focused on fostering love and unity among members, and the need to create cordial relationships for collective success and development in our work.

As some were smiling radiantly, others dabbing their eyes with their handkerchiefs as tears were trailing down their cheeks. There was a little dance twist to the procession which made it lovely. It was easily seen that they were having fun, singing the words of a popular departure song in Wesley girls ‘’One more step along the world you go”.
